Delicious hemp milk. Filled with complete protein, essential fats, minerals and vitamins. A super easy recipe and a waste free option for people who love a good plant based milk.
Soak 1 cup of Hulled Hemp Seeds for 2 hours in 2 cups of water. Or if you don't mind heating them a little you can alternatively soak them in some hot water for 15 min.
Then in a blender mix 1 litre of water with the soaked hemp.
Add 1 tablespoon of hemp oil, a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Blend for about 5 minutes. Then strain with a cheesecloth. And you are left with some tasty hemp milk.Yum!!
You can make a "caramel" flavoured milk by adding a 1/2 cup of dates and a dash of maple syrup in the blending. For those of us that are feeling a like a little something sweet.
